I rescued this dog off Franklin Road near Brentwood, where the speed limit is 55mph. The dog was running on the side of the road and then crossed several times narrowly escaping being hit by rush hour traffic. Finally enough people stopped and I was able to get him using my belt for a collar/leash. He has no tags or collar and I had him scanned and he has no microchip. He's friendly,gentle, walks on a leash and seems to have ridden in cars before. He also has obviously been in a house and is well behaved. I can't keep this dog, as I have 2 big dogs and 4 cats. Hoping his owners are looking for him. Can you post? I will have to take him to Wm Co.Animal Control on Thurs as I have no place to keep him. 

Found- 2 brindle boxers. Appear to be mother & son. Son is neutered. Found in Cambridge Farms in Gallatin TN

I found a Schnauzer (possibly mixed with poodle) on May 5, 2013 near Nashboro Village in Antioch. It is a female whose microchip comes back to someone in Texas who rehomed her here in TN at some point. Because the microchip was never updated with the new info, I do not know where to look. The previous owners refuse to speak with me as to where she belongs, and this is my final attempt to find the owner before rehoming her myself, as I have 3 dogs of my own. She is very smart and sweet, also a “talker”. She has had no accidents in the house and understands many words, including the name the microchip was registered under, which is “Gizmo”. If you know where this sweet girl belongs, please contact me as soon as possible. I have a home lined up for her, but want to give the rightful owner a chance to get her back. She tries to dart out the door anytime it is opened, and this may be how she ended up dodging traffic in the rain on Sunday. Was not wearing a collar, but Priest Lake Veterinary Hospital scanned her and found the microchip. She also looks to have had a haircut rather recently. I can be reached at the number below. Today I found a little jack russle, she seems to be very young. I found her on old hickory blvd and cane ride near I 24. I tried for over an hour in the neighborhood and no one knew her. I wanted to see if I could post her here just in case.
